As “The Puberty Lady,” a nurse, and an educator, I believe in lifelong learning. On my recent trip to Costa Rica, I had the unexpected pleasure of meeting Maria, a 19-year-old member of the staff who helped me while zip-lining. When she learned what I do, she exclaimed, “I need to talk to you!” We had a wonderful conversation about the need for sex education in Costa Rica.
